BASEBALL PLAYOFFS ROUNDUP. Most everyone is talking about the Boston Red Sox 0-3, extra-inning comeback against the New York Yankees. Apparently, Bostonians think they're well on their way towards breaking the Curse. Not so fast. Jim Edmonds hit a walk-off home run to give the St. Louis Cardinals an edge over the Houston Astros in Game 6 of the NLCS, and I just finished watching the conclusion of Game 7. The Cardinals have emerged victorious to win their first NL Pennant since 1987 and they have great momentum. A team with 105 wins on the season, I look for them to give the Red Sox a run for their money. And I'll say it once again: Go Cards!!!
