A FAREWELL TO PRESIDENT RONALD REAGAN. Today's ceremony at the National Cathedral was moving...and monumental. Margaret Thatcher spoke most eloquently of her former Cold War ally. Her remarks were both touching and substantive, worthy of a deeper analysis far lengthier than this posting. Former President Bush's personal testimony about Ronald Reagan was warm and heart-felt, and included a Scripture passage recommended by Billy Graham: Psalm 37. President Bush traced Ronald Reagan's humble beginnings and the firmness of his convictions.

And so the people of a grateful nation say goodbye to the most momentus political leader of their time.
