BACK ON TRACK... This evening’s wonderful news is that our dearly beloved Seattle Mariners are returning to form, winning on Raul Ibañez’s homer in the bottom of the 9th.

I only managed to stay up for 13 innings from last night’s game, and was more than pleased to see them come up victorious in the bottom of the 14th. Granted, the Mariner’s won Monday night’s game on a balk call, but hey—it was the Oakland A’s. I don’t feel sorry for Chokeland.

What I would like to see now is for the bats to come alive. These close, low-scoring ballgames make me a little nervous. (Maybe that's just the former pitcher in me.)
